The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By (the horses) that charge snorting, 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And most surely he is a witness of that. 7 Surely he is passionate in his love for good things. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when that which is in the tombs is over-thrown, 9 and that which is in the chest is brought out, 10 surely on that day their Lord shall be aware of them! 11
