Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have placed the signs of the Zodiac in the sky, and decked it out for those who can see; 16 And We have preserved it from every accursed devil, 17 Except for he who steals the listening and is then pursued by a visible flame. 18 We have spread out the earth, and set upon it firm mountains and caused everything to grow in due proportion. 19 and provided thereon means of livelihood for you [O men] as well as for all [living beings] whose sustenance does not depend on you. 20 And there is not a thing but with Us are its treasuries, and We do not send it down except in a known measure. 21 We send the winds fertilizing, and We send down out of heaven water, from which you drink and you are not its treasurers. 22 It is We who give life and We who give death, and We are the One who will abide. 23 We know the people who lived before you and those who will come into existence after you. 24 Your Lord will surely gather them together: Certainly He is all-wise and all-knowing. 25
