And man saith: When I am dead, shall I forsooth be brought forth alive? 66 Does not man remember that We created him before, while he was nothing? 67 By your Lord, We will surely muster them and the devils together. Then We will surely bring them all, on their knees, around Hell, 68 Then We shall pluck forth from every party whichever of them was the most hardened in disdain of the All-merciful; 69 Moreover, We well know those who most deserve to be burned in hell. 70 There is not one of you who shall not go down to it: such is a thing decreed, determined by your Lord. 71 But We shall save those who guarded against evil, and We shall leave the wrong-doers therein, (humbled) to their knees. 72 And when Our manifest revelations are rehearsed unto them, those who disbelieve say unto those who believe: which of the two portions is better in station and goodlier in company? 73 How many generations of greater prosperity and splendor have We destroyed before them? 74 Say: "Ar-Rahman extends the life of those who are astray until they come to realise what had been promised them was either (physical) affliction or (the terror) of Resurrection. Then will they know who is worse in position, and who is weak in supporters. 75 And Allah will increase the guidance for those who have received guidance; and good deeds that remain have the best reward before your Lord, and the best outcome. 76 Have you seen him who rejected Our signs and said: "Surely I shall continue to be favoured with riches and children." 77 Has he known the unseen or has he taken a covenant from the Most Beneficent (Allah)? 78 Nay!
