They ask you about the mountains. Say, "My Lord will scatter them as dust 105 then He will leave them a level hollow 106 “In which you shall neither see ups nor downs.” 107 That Day, everyone will follow [the call of] the Caller [with] no deviation therefrom, and [all] voices will be stilled before the Most Merciful, so you will not hear except a whisper [of footsteps]. 108 That Day intercession will profit not except him for whom the Compassionate giveth leave, and of whom He approveth the word. 109 He knows what is before them and what is behind them, while they do not comprehend it in knowledge. 110 ۞ And the faces shall be humbled before the Living, the Self-subsistent Allah, and he who bears iniquity is indeed a failure. 111 But he who works deeds of righteousness, and has faith, will have no fear of harm nor of any curtailment (of what is his due). 112 We have thus sent down the Quran in Arabic and given all kinds of warnings in it, so that they may fear God, or may take heed -- 113 God is the Most High and the True King. (Muhammad), do not be hasty in reading the Quran to the people before the revelation has been completed. "Say, My Lord, grant me more knowledge." 114 We made a covenant with Adam before you, but he forgot, and We found him lacking in constancy. 115
