Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Ya Seen. 1 By the Quran, full of wisdom (i.e. full of laws, evidences, and proofs), 2 you are truly among the Messengers, 3 upon the straight path. 4 This is a revelation sent down from the Majestic and All-merciful 5 That you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are unaware. 6 Indeed, the word [of God's condemnation] is bound to come true against most of them: for they will not believe. 7 We have put fetters around their necks which reach up to their chins so that they are standing with their heads upright, 8 And We have put before them a barrier and behind them a barrier and covered them, so they do not see. 9 It is the same to them whether you warn them or you warn them not, they will not believe. 10 Thou only warnest him who follows the Remembrance and who fears the All-merciful in the Unseen; so give him the good tidings of forgiveness and a generous wage. 11 Verily We shall give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before and that which they leave behind, and of all things have We taken account in a clear Book (of evidence). 12
