The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ WHEN WHAT IS to happen comes to pass -- 1 There is no belying its coming to pass-- 2 It will abase some and exalt others. 3 When the earth is shaken up convulsively, 4 And the mountains are crumbled, crumbled. 5 Turned to dust, floating in the air, 6 And you will become divided into three categories. 7 Companions of the Right (O Companions of the Right!) 8 And those on the Left Hand (i.e. those who will be given their Record in their left hands), Who will be those on the Left Hand? (As a disgrace for them, because they will enter Hell). 9 And the forerunners, the forerunners - 10 (The foremost ones) will be the nearest ones to God 11 In gardens of tranquility; 12 Many of them will be from the ancient people 13 And a few from the latter. 14 [They will be seated] on gold-encrusted thrones of happiness, 15 Reclining thereon facing each other. 16 There will circulate among them young boys made eternal 17 With goblets and ewers and a cup of pure drink; 18 Their heads shall not ache with it, nor shall they lose their senses. 19 they will also go about them with the fruits of which they may choose, 20 And the flesh of fowls that they desire. 21 And pure, beautiful ones, 22 Like unto Pearls well-guarded. 23 A reward for what they used to do. 24 Therein they hear no vain or sinful discourse. 25 only the saying 'Peace, Peace!' 26 The companions of the right - what are the companions of the right? 27 [They will be] among lote trees with thorns removed 28 And plantains laden with fruit. 29 and spreading shade 30 And water everflowing. 31 And fruit in plenty, 32 unfailing and not forbidden. 33 and raised couches 34 We have formed them in a distinctive fashion, 35 We have made them virgins, 36 loving and of equal age. 37 for those on the Right, 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
