The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir)
56 verses, revealed in Mecca after Unknown Person (Al-Muzzammil) before The Key (Al-Faatehah)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
O thou enveloped in thy cloak, 1 Rise up and warn! 2 Proclaim the glory of your Lord; 3 Purify your inner self, 4 And stay away from idols. 5 And bestow not favour that thou mayest receive more. 6 And for the sake of your Lord, be patient. 7 Then, when the Trumpet is sounded (i.e. its second blowing); 8 that will surely be a hard day, 9 For the unbelievers, anything but easy. 10 Leave him to Me, the one whom I created single. 11 And then granted him resources in abundance. 12 And children present [with him] 13 and for whom I have smoothed the way (to power and riches), 14 then he is eager that I should do more. 15 Nay! He is forward unto Our signs; 16 I will constrain him to a hard ascent. 17 He reflected, and then determined 18 So let him be cursed! How he plotted! 19 Then may he be destroyed [for] how he deliberated. 20 Then looked he, 21 frowned and scowled; 22 Then he turned back and was arrogant 23 and said, "This is nothing but sorcery from the ancients. 24 Naught is this but the word of Man. 25 I will soon fling him into hell. 26 What do you think Hell-fire is? 27 It does not allow to live, and neither leaves [to die,] 28 scorching the flesh; 29 Above it are nineteen. 30 And We have not made the keepers of the Fire except angels. And We have not made their number except as a trial for those who disbelieve - that those who were given the Scripture will be convinced and those who have believed will increase in faith and those who were given the Scripture and the believers will not doubt and that those in whose hearts is hypocrisy and the disbelievers will say, "What does Allah intend by this as an example?" Thus does Allah leave astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And none knows the soldiers of your Lord except Him. And mention of the Fire is not but a reminder to humanity. 31

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
يعرض القرآن الملون الصفحات بواحد من ثلاثة خطوط عربية. قد يظهر أي منهم بإحتمال الثلث، مما يزيد على التنوع الموجود أصلا في الألوان. وتبقى الكلمات خالدة الى الابد. وقريبا، سيكون للقرآن الملون خطوطا أُخرى جميلة إن شاء الله.
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
توجد تمارين تحفيظ للوضعين العربي الأصلي والعربي المخطوط بأحرف إنجليزية فقط. ولا تحتوي الترجمة الإنجليزية على تمارين حفظ.
There are memorization exercises for the original Arabic and English transliterated Arabic modes only. The English translation mode has no memorization exercises.
