T H (Taa Haa)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta Ha. 1 We have not sent down the Quran unto you (O Muhammad SAW) to cause you distress, 2 But as admonition for him who fears -- 3 a revelation from Him Who created the earth and the high heavens. 4 The Beneficent God is dominant over the Throne (of the realm). 5 To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth, and all that is in between, and all that is beneath the soil. 6 Whether or not you express (your thoughts) in words, God certainly knows all unspoken thoughts and all that is even more difficult to find. 7 Allah! There is no Allah save Him. His are the most beautiful names. 8 Hath there come unto thee the story of Moses? 9 Recall what time he saw a fire and said to his household, bide ye! verily I have perceived a fire! haply I may bring you from it a brand or may find at the fire a guidance. 10 And when he reached it, he was called by name: O Moses! 11 "Verily! I am your Lord! So take off your shoes, you are in the sacred valley, Tuwa. 12 I have chosen you, so listen to what is revealed to you. 13 I am God. There is no deity save Me; so worship Me alone, and say your prayers in My remembrance. 14 The Hour is coming. But I choose to keep it hidden, so that every human being may be recompensed in accordance with his labours. 15 Let not the unbelievers who follow their vain desires make you forget the Day of Judgment, lest you will perish." 16 What is that in your right band, O Moses?" 17 He said, "It is my rod: on it I lean; with it I beat down fodder for my flocks; and in it I find other uses." 18 He said, “Put it down, O Moosa! 19 So he threw it down, and lo! it was a rapidly moving snake. 20 He said, “Pick it up and do not fear; We shall restore it to its former state.” 21 And place your hand in your armpit, it will come forth shining white, without blemish. This is another Sign of Allah, 22 That We may show you of Our greater signs: 23 Go to Pharaoh; he has transgressed all bounds." 24
