Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By oath of those which carry away while dispersing. 1 Then by oath of those which carry the burdens. 2 And those that flow with ease and gentleness; 3 And those who distribute (it) by command, 4 that what you are promised is certainly true 5 And verily Judgment and Justice must indeed come to pass. 6 By the heaven with its numerous forms: 7 Certainly, you have different ideas (about Muhammad SAW and the Quran). 8 he is turned away from [the truth] who is destined to be so turned away. 9 Perish will those who just guess and speculate, 10 and who wander in the abyss of confusion. 11 'When will the Day of Judgement be' they ask. 12 (It is) the day on which they shall be tried at the fire. 13 [And will be told], "Taste your torment. This is that for which you were impatient." 14 Verily the God-fearing will be amid Gardens and water-springs. 15 taking whatsoever their Lord has given them; they were good-doers before that. 16 They used to sleep only a little during the night. 17 and asked for forgiveness in the early morning. 18 And in their wealth and possessions (was remembered) the right of the (needy,) him who asked, and him who (for some reason) was prevented (from asking). 19 In the earth there is evidence (of the Truth) for those who have strong faith. 20 And also in your own selves. Behold ye not? 21 In the heavens there is your sustenance and that which you were promised (Paradise). 22 By the Lord of the heaven and the earth it is sure, even as it is a fact that ye are speaking. 23
