Therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), enlighten, for by the munificence of your Lord, you are neither a soothsayer nor a madman. 29 Or do they say: "(Muhammad SAW is) a poet! We await for him some calamity by time! 30 Say: 'Await! I shall be awaiting with you.' 31 Enjoin them their understandings to this? or are they a people conumacious? 32 Do they say: 'He has invented it' No, they do not believe. 33 Then let them bring a discourse like it, if they speak truly. 34 Or were they created out of naught? Or are they the creators? 35 Created they the heavens and the earth! Aye! they will not be convinced. 36 Or are thy Lord's treasuries in their keeping? Or are they the registrars? 37 Or have they a ladder whereon they listen? Then let any of them that has listened bring a clear authority. 38 Or has He daughters while you have sons? 39 Or askest thou them for a wage, and so they are weighed down with debt? 40 Or possess they the Unseen so that they can write (it) down? 41 Do they design evil plans? The disbelievers themselves will be snared by their evil plots. 42 Or, do they have a god, other than Allah? Exaltations to Allah above that which they associate! 43 If they should see a part of the heavens falling down, they would say, "A mass of clouds," 44 Wherefore let them alone, till they meet their Day whereon they shall swoon. 45 the Day when none of their scheming will be of the least avail to them, and they will receive no succour. 46 And verily, for those who do wrong, there is another punishment besides this: But most of them understand not. 47 And wait patiently for the judgment of your Lord, for surely you are before Our eyes, and sing the praise of your Lord when you rise; 48 And in the night-time also hymn His praise, and at the setting of the stars. 49

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
