Prostration
< random >
Have you [Prophet] considered the man who turned away, 33 And gave little, and then stopped? 34 Does he [claim to] have knowledge of something that is beyond the reach of human perception, so that he can see [it clearly]? 35 Or has he not been informed of what was in the scriptures of Moses 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his trust? -- 37 That no one who carries a burden bears another's load; 38 and that everyone shall have in his account only that which he worked for, 39 and that his labouring shall surely be seen, 40 Then he will be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense 41 And that to your Lord (Allah) is the End (Return of everything). 42 And that it is He who makes [one] laugh and weep 43 And that He it is Who causes death and gives life- 44 It is He who has created spouses, male and female, 45 From a sperm-drop when it is emitted 46 and that it is for Him to grant the second life, 47 that He it is Who bestowed wealth and riches, 48 and that it is He alone who sustains the brightest star; 49 and that He destroyed Ad, the ancient, 50 and Thamood, sparing no one, 51 And the people of Noah before. Indeed, it was they who were [even] more unjust and oppressing. 52 just as He thrust into perdition those cities that were overthrown 53 and then covered them from sight forever. 54 So, which of your Lord's bounties will you doubt?” 55 This [Prophet] is a warner like the former warners. 56 The Imminent is imminent; 57 No one besides God can rescue a soul from hardship. 58 Do you marvel then at this discourse (the Koran)? 59 And laugh and not weep? 60 and divert yourselves all the while? 61 So fall you down in prostration to Allah, and worship Him (Alone). ۩ 62
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
