The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

WOE unto every slanderer, fault-finder! 1 Who amasses wealth and hordes it. 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal. 3 Nay, he shall be thrown into the Crusher. 4 Would that you knew what hutamah is! 5 It is a fierce fire created by God 6 roaring over the hearts 7 Indeed, Hellfire will be closed down upon them 8 in outstretched columns. 9

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
