And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
