Have you seen the one who turned away 33 Who gives but little, and is niggardly? 34 Is with him the knowledge of the unseen so that he sees? 35 Or has he not been informed of what was in the scriptures of Moses 36 And with Abraham who kept his word: 37 that no soul shall bear the burden of another; 38 and that man shall have nothing but what he has striven for, 39 And that his effort is going to be seen - 40 Then will he be rewarded with a reward complete; 41 And that the end is only towards your Lord? 42 that it is He who causes to laugh and causes to weep. 43 And that He it is Who giveth death and giveth life; 44 And that He createth the two spouses, the male and the female, 45 From Nutfah (drops of semen male and female discharges) when it is emitted; 46 And that upon Him (Allah) is another bringing forth (Resurrection); 47 And that it is He Who enricheth and preserveth property. 48 And that He only is the Lord of the star Sirius? 49 And that it is He (Allah) Who destroyed the former 'Ad (people), 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace of them, 51 and before them the nation of Noah, they exceeded in evil and were insolent. 52 It is He who turned upside down the people of Lot 53 so that there came upon them that which came. 54 Which then of thy Lord's benefits wilt thou doubt? 55 This is a warning just like those of former times. 56 What is to come is imminent. 57 and none but Allah can avert it. 58 At this discourse then marvel ye? 59 And you laugh, and do not weep! 60 While ye amuse yourselves? 61 Prostrate yourselves before God, and worship Him alone! ۩ 62
