Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

۞ Have We not expanded your chest for you (Prophet Muhammad), 1 and lifted from thee the burden 2 Which had left you devoid of hope, 3 And exalted thy fame? 4 For indeed, with hardship [will be] ease. 5 Verily, with the hardship, there is relief (i.e. there is one hardship with two reliefs, so one hardship cannot overcome two reliefs). 6 Then when thou becometh relieved, toil; 7 and let your longing be for your Lord (in humility). 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
