The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Ruin is for every open slanderer, backbiter. 1 Who pileth up wealth and layeth it by, 2 Does he think his wealth will abide for ever with him? 3 By no means. He will be thrown into Hutama. 4 And what do you know what the Crusher is? 5 The Fire of God kindled 6 Which mounts directed at the hearts. 7 closed around them 8 In outstretched columns. 9

True are the words of God the Almighty.
