۞ Surely Allah enjoins the doing of justice and the doing of good (to others) and the giving to the kindred, and He forbids indecency and evil and rebellion; He admonishes you that you may be mindful. 90 And fulfill the covenant of Allah when you have made a covenant, and do not break the oaths after making them fast, and you have indeed made Allah a surety for you; surely Allah knows what you do. 91 And be not like her who unravels her yarn, disintegrating it into pieces after she has spun it strongly. You make your oaths to be means of deceit between you because (one) nation is more numerous than (another) nation. Allah only tries you by this; and He will most certainly make clear to you on the resurrection day that about which you differed. 92 Had Allah so willed, He would have made you all one single community. However, He lets go astray whomsoever He wills and shows the Right Way to whomsoever He wills. Surely you shall be called to account regarding what you did. 93 And do not take your oaths as [means of] deceit between you, lest a foot slip after it was [once] firm, and you would taste evil [in this world] for what [people] you diverted from the way of Allah, and you would have [in the Hereafter] a great punishment. 94 And purchase not a small gain at the cost of Allah's Covenant. Verily! What is with Allah is better for you if you did but know. 95 Whatever you possess is transient and whatever is with God is everlasting. We will recompense those who exercise patience with their due reward and even more. 96 And whosoever does a righteous deed, be it male or female, believing, We shall assuredly give him to live a goodly life; and We shall recompense them their wage, according to the best of what they did. 97 And when thou recitest the Qur'an, seek refuge in Allah from Satan the outcast. 98 Surely he has no authority over those who believe and rely on their Lord. 99 His power is only over those who make a friend of him, and those who ascribe partners unto Him (Allah). 100
