AND THEY WILL ask thee about [what will happen to] the mountains [when this world comes to an end]. Say, then: "My Sustainer will scatter them far and wide, 105 And turn them into a level plain, 106 Wherein thou shalt not see any crookedness or ruggedness. 107 On that Day all will follow the summoning voice from which there is no escape; and all voices will be hushed before the Lord of Mercy, and nothing will be heard except a subdued murmur. 108 On that Day shall no intercession avail except for those for whom permission has been granted by (Allah) Most Gracious and whose word is acceptable to Him. 109 God knows all that is in front of them and behind them and they can not encompass His knowledge. 110 ۞ Faces will be humble before the Everlasting and the Self-existing God. Despair will strike those who are loaded with the burden of injustice. 111 But he who works deeds of righteousness, and has faith, will have no fear of harm nor of any curtailment (of what is his due). 112 AND THUS have We bestowed from on high this [divine writ] as a discourse in the Arabic tongue, and have given therein many facets to all manner of warnings, so that men might remain conscious of Us, or that it give rise to a new awareness in them 113 Supremely exalted is therefore Allah, the King, the Truth, and do not make haste with the Quran before its revelation is made complete to you and say: O my Lord! increase me in knowledge. 114 We made a covenant with Adam before you, but he forgot, and We found him lacking in constancy. 115
