Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
60 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Dunes (Al-Ahqaaf) before Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By (the winds) that scatter dust. 1 Then those clouds bearing the load (of minute things in space). 2 And those [ships] sailing with ease 3 and the partitioners, 4 What you are threatened with is most surely true, 5 and, verily, judgment is bound to come! 6 By the heaven full of paths, 7 surely you are deeply at variance [as to what to believe] -- 8 Through which are deluded (away from the Truth) such as would be deluded. 9 They but destroy themselves, they who are given to guessing at what they cannot ascertain 10 Those who are in heedlessness neglectful. 11 asking, 'When shall be the Day of Doom?' 12 [It is] the Day they will be tormented over the Fire 13 "Taste your trial. This is what you sought to hasten." 14 [But,] behold, the God-conscious will find themselves amid gardens and springs, 15 Taking joy in the things which their Lord has given them. Verily, they were before this Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 16 They slept very little during the night 17 and would pray for forgiveness from their innermost hearts; 18 and in their wealth was a share for whosoever asked and for whosoever was prevented. 19 And on the earth are signs for those who have Faith with certainty, 20 just as [there are signs thereof] within your own selves: can you not, then, see? 21 And in the heaven is your sustenance and what you are threatened with. 22 So by the Lord of heaven and earth, it is as surely true as that you have speech. 23

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
