Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
26 verses, revealed in Mecca after Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat) before The Cave (Al-Kahf)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Has the story reached thee of the overwhelming (Event)? 1 Some faces, that Day, will be humiliated, 2 Labouring, wearied out, 3 roasting at a scorching fire, 4 that is fueled from a tremendously hot fountain, 5 No food shall be theirs save bitter thorn, 6 which neither sustains, nor satisfy hunger. 7 [And] some faces will on that Day shine with bliss, 8 well pleased with the result of their striving, 9 They will be in a lofty Garden 10 hearing there no babble; 11 There is a stream of running water in it; 12 Therein shall be couches elevated! 13 and prepared goblets, 14 and arranged cushions 15 and rich carpets levelled out. 16 Look they not at the camels, how they are created? 17 and on the sky, how it is raised aloft, 18 and on the mountains, how they are firmly set up, 19 and how the earth is spread out? 20 Remind them, for thou art but a remembrancer, 21 You are not a dictator over them. 22 As for those who turn their back and disbelieve, 23 Then Allah will punish him with the greatest punishment. 24 Surely to Us is their turning back, 25 Then verily on Us is their reckoning. 26
True are the words of God the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
