The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
OH, the sudden calamity! 1 How awesome the sudden calamity! 2 And what can make you know what is the Striking Calamity? 3 [It will occur] on the Day when men will be like moths swarming in confusion, 4 and the mount-ains like tufts of carded wool. 5 Those whose good deeds will weigh heavier (on the scale) 6 He will live a pleasant life (in Paradise). 7 But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- 8 shall be engulfed by an abyss. 9 And what could make thee conceive what that [abyss] will be? 10 A Fire vehemently hot! 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
