And recount to them the story of Abraham: 69 When he asked his father and his people: "What do you worship?" 70 They said, "We worship idols and will continue to cling to them." 71 He said, 'Do they hear you when you call, 72 "Or do they benefit you or do they harm (you)?" 73 They said, "But we found our fathers doing thus." 74 He said: 'Have you considered what you worship, 75 “You and your forefathers preceding you.” 76 Verily they are an enemy unto me, save the Lord of the worlds. 77 who created me, and Himself guides me, 78 and is the One who gives me to eat and to drink, 79 And when I sicken, then He healeth me, 80 who makes me to die and then revives me, 81 and who I am eager shall forgive me my offence on the Day of Doom. 82 My Lord! Bestow Hukman (religious knowledge, right judgement of the affairs and Prophethood) on me, and join me with the righteous; 83 Make my words come true in the future. 84 And make me one of the inheritors of the Garden of Delight. 85 And forgive my father. Lo! he is of those who err. 86 and disgrace me not on the Day when people will be raised to life, 87 The day on which property will not avail, nor sons 88 "But only he (will prosper) that brings to Allah a sound heart; 89 And the Garden will be brought nigh for those who ward off (evil). 90 And hell will appear plainly to the erring. 91 And it will be said to them, "Where are those you used to worship 92 apart from God? Do they help you or help themselves?' 93 The idol worshippers, the idols, the rebellious ones, 94 Together with the hordes of Iblis. 95 And there and then, blaming one another, they [who had grievously sinned in life] will exclaim: 96 "We were clearly misguided 97 When we equalled you with the Lord of the worlds. 98 "'And our seducers were only those who were steeped in guilt. 99 Now we have none to intercede for us, 100 "'Nor a single friend to feel (for us). 101 If only we could return and be among the believers!" 102 There is certainly a sign in that, but most of them would not believe: 103 And indeed your Lord – only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 104

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
