The tree of al-Zaqqum 43 The food of the sinner! 44 like the dregs of oil, it shall boil in their bellies, 45 as boiling water bubbles. 46 (It will be said) "Seize him and drag him into the midst of blazing Fire, 47 Then pour above his head of the torment of the boiling water: 48 They will be told, "Suffer the torment. You had thought yourselves to be majestic and honorable. 49 Verily this is that whereof ye were wont to doubt. 50 Verily! The Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2), will be in place of Security (Paradise). 51 amid gardens and springs, 52 They shall wear of fine and thick silk, (sitting) face to face; 53 Thus shall it be: and We shall espouse them to fair, wide-eyed maidens. 54 They shall call therein for every fruit in security; 55 There they will not know any death apart from the first death they had died, and will be kept safe from the torment of Hell 56 as a bounty from your Lord. That will be the mighty triumph. 57 (O Prophet), We have made this Book easy in your tongue so that they may take heed. 58 Wait then (O Muhammad SAW); Verily, they (too) are waiting. 59
