As for those who, after persecution, migrated from their homes for the cause of God, We will provide them with a goodly abode in this life: but truly the reward of the Hereafter will be greater, if they only knew it. 41 (It is they) who have exercised patience and trust in their Lord. 42 And before thee also the messengers We sent were but men, to whom We granted inspiration: if ye realise this not, ask of those who possess the Message. 43 With evidences and scriptures We sent them. And We have sent down unto thee the admonition that thou mayest expound unto mankind that which hath been revealed toward them, and that haply they may reflect. 44 Do those who have been devising evil plans (against the mission of the Messenger) feel secure that Allah will not cause the earth to swallow them up or that chastisement will not come upon them from a direction that they will not even be able to imagine; 45 Or that He may not seize them in the course of their journeys, then shall they not escape; 46 Or that He may not seize them by causing them to suffer gradual loss, for your Lord is most surely Compassionate, Merciful. 47 Have they not observed the things God has created, casting their shadows right and left, prostrating themselves before God in all humility? 48 And to Allah prostate all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth, of the live moving creatures and the angels, and they are not proud [i.e. they worship their Lord (Allah) with humility]. 49 They all revere their Lord, high above them, and they do all that they are commanded. ۩ 50
