Al-Inshiqaaq
The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
25 verses, revealed in Mecca after Shattering (Al-Infitaar) before The Romans (Al-Room)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ When the sky is rent asunder 1 and obeys its Lord as it must, 2 And when the earth shall be stretched forth. 3 and casts out all that is within and voids itself, 4 and hearkens to the command of its Lord, doing what it should. 5 O human, you are working hard towards your Lord and you will meet Him. 6 Whoever is given the Record in his right hand 7 will be easy, 8 And he will return to his family rejoicing. 9 But whosoever is given his Record behind his back, 10 He surely will invoke destruction 11 and roast at the Blaze. 12 Once, he lived joyfully among his family 13 for he never thought that he would have to return [to God]. 14 But no; (how would he not revert)? His Lord was ever watching him. 15 Oh, I swear by the afterglow of sunset, 16 And by oath of the night and all that gathers in it. 17 And the moon when at the full, 18 You will surely go up level by level. 19 What aileth them, then, that they believe not 20 and [that,] when the Qur'an is read unto them, they do not fall down in prostration? ۩ 21 Yea those who disbelieve belie. 22 But God knows what they harbour in their breasts. 23 Hence, give them the tiding of grievous suffering [in the life to come] 24 unless it be such [of them] as [repent, and] attain to faith, and do good works; for theirs shall be a reward unending! 25
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
