Al-Taareq

The Comet (Al-Taareq)

17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

By the Sky and the Night-Visitant (therein);- 1 And what shall make thee know that which the night-comer is? 2 The piercing star! 3 There is no living being but there is a protector over it. 4 LET MAN, then, observe out of what he has been created: 5 He is created from a drop emitted- 6 Proceeding from between the backbone and the ribs: 7 Most surely He is able to return him (to life). 8 On the Day when secrets are disclosed, 9 Then man will have no power or any helper. 10 By the sky (having rain clouds) which gives rain, again and again. 11 And [by] the earth which cracks open, 12 It is surely a decisive utterance; 13 And no trifle. 14 As for them, they are but plotting a scheme, 15 And I am plotting a plot. 16 so bear with those who deny the truth, and let them be for a little while. 17

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
