Have you not considered your Lord - how He extends the shadow, and if He willed, He could have made it stationary? Then We made the sun for it an indication. 45 thereafter We seize it to Us withdrawing it gently. 46 It is He who appointed the night for you to be a garment and sleep for a rest, and day He appointed for a rising. 47 And it is He Who sends the winds as heralds of glad tidings, going before His Mercy (rain), and We send down pure water from the sky, 48 To quicken a region that was dead, and to give it as drink to animals We have created and to men in plenty. 49 We have indeed turned it about them, so that they remember; yet most people refuse all except disbelief. 50 Now had We so willed, We could have [continued as before and] raised up a [separate] warner in every single community: 51 Se obey not thou the infidels, but strive against them therewith with a great striving. 52 ۞ It is He who made two bodies of water flow side by side, one fresh (and) sweet, the other brine (and) bitter, and has placed an interstice, a barrier between them. 53 And it is He Who created man from water, then appointed relatives and in-laws for him; and your Lord is All Able. 54 And yet they worship, besides Allah, that which can neither benefit them nor hurt them; and the infidel is ever an aider of the devil against his Lord. 55 Yet We have not sent you but to give good tidings and to warn. 56 Say: 'I demand of you no wage for this except for he who wishes to take the Path to his Lord' 57 And put your trust (O Muhammad SAW) in the Ever Living One Who dies not, and glorify His Praises, and Sufficient is He as the All-Knower of the sins of His slaves; 58 In six days He created the earth and the heavens and all that is between them; then He established Himself on the "Throne" (of the Kingdom of the uriverse). (He is) the Merciful: as to His Glory, ask the one who knows. 59 And when it is said unto them: prostrate yourselves unto the Compassionate, they say: and what is the Compassionate? Shall we prostrate ourselves unto that which thou commandest us? And it increaseth in them aversion. ۩ 60
