Al-Ma'aarej 2 of 2
But what is the matter with the unbelievers, that they strain their glances continuously towards them, 36 [To sit] on [your] right and [your] left in separate groups? 37 Does every man of them desire that he should be made to enter the garden of bliss? 38 By no means! verily We! We have created them from that which they know. 39 I swear by the Lord of the easts and the wests that We have the power 40 to replace them with [people] better than they are; for there is nothing to prevent Us [from doing what We will]. 41 so leave them to indulge in vain idle talk and amuse themselves, until they face the Day which they have been promised, 42 The Day whereon they shall come forth from the sepulchres hastily, as though they were to an altar hurrying. 43 Their eyes will be downcast and disgrace will overwhelm them. Such is the Day that they were promised. 44
