۞ O mankind, you are those in need of Allah, while Allah is the Free of need, the Praiseworthy. 15 If He so pleased, He could blot you out and bring in a New Creation. 16 And this is not hard to Allah. 17 No laden soul shall bear another's load. If one is heavy burdened and calls for his load to be carried, nothing of it will be carried, not even if he is a close relative. You warn only those who fear their Lord in the Unseen, and establish the prayer. He who purifies himself, purifies himself for the good of his own soul. To Allah is the arrival. 18 For [thus it is:] the blind and the seeing are not equal; 19 the shadows and the light, 20 And neither are the shadow and the hot sunshine! 21 and neither are equal the living and the dead [of heart]. Behold, [O Muhammad,] God can make hear whomever He wills, whereas thou canst not make hear such as are [dead of heart like the dead] in their graves: 22 You, [O Muhammad], are not but a warner. 23 We have sent you with the truth as a bearer of good news and a warner, there is no community to which a warner has not come. 24 And if they call you a liar, so did those before them indeed call (their apostles) liars; their apostles had come to them with clear arguments, and with scriptures, and with the illuminating book. 25 Then I took hold of those who disbelieved, and how terrible was My denial (punishment)! 26
