Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
O THOU human being! 1 By the wise Qur'an, 2 you are truly among the Messengers, 3 On a right way. 4 [This is] a revelation of the Exalted in Might, the Merciful, 5 That you may warn a people whose ancestors had never been warned, who are therefore heedless. 6 (I swear) that most of them are doomed to be punished. They have no faith. 7 Surely We have placed chains on their necks, and these reach up to their chins, so they have their heads raised aloft. 8 And We have placed before them a barrier and behind them a barrier, so We have covered them, so that they see not. 9 Alike it is to them whether thou hast warned them or thou hast not warned them, they do not believe. 10 You should only warn those who follow the Quran and have fear of the Beneficent God without seeing Him. Give them the glad news of their receiving forgiveness and an honorable reward (from God). 11 Indeed, it is We who bring the dead to life and record what they have put forth and what they left behind, and all things We have enumerated in a clear register. 12
