VERILY, [O believer,] it is We who have bestowed from on high this Qur'an upon thee, step by step - truly a bestowal from on high! 23 So be patient for the decision of your Lord and do not obey from among them a sinner or ungrateful [disbeliever]. 24 Remember the name of thy Lord at morn and evening. 25 And bow in homage part of the night, and glorify Him far into the night. 26 Those people [who are unmindful of God] aspire for immediate gains, and put behind them a Heavy Day. 27 It is We Who created them, and strengthened their skeleton; and We can replace them with others like them, whenever We will. 28 VERILY, all this is an admonition: whoever, then, so wills, may unto his Sustainer find a way. 29 But you will not unless God wills; surely God is ever All-knowing, All-wise. 30 He admits to His mercy whomever He wants. For the unjust He has prepared a painful punishment. 31
