The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

The Clatterer! 1 What is the Striking Calamity? 2 And what do you know what the Calamity is? 3 (It is) a Day whereon men will be like moths scattered about, 4 and the mountains shall be like fluffs of carded wool in varying colours. 5 And then, he whose weight [of good deeds] is heavy in the balance 6 will have a most pleasing life. 7 And as for him whose balances are light, 8 His abode shall be the abyss. 9 And what will make you know what it is? 10 A blazing Fire! 11
