Prostration (Al-Sajdah)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Alif-Lam-Meem. (Alphabets of the Arabic language – Allah and to whomever He reveals, know their precise meanings.) 1 The revelation of this Book free of doubt and involution is from the Lord of all the worlds. 2 Do they say that he, (Muhammad), has invented it? No, it is the truth from your Lord so that you will warn the people who have not received a warning before you. Perhaps they will seek guidance. 3 It was Allah, who, in six days created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, and then willed to the Throne. You have no guardian nor intercessor other than Him. Will you not remember? 4 He plans (all) the job(s) from the heaven to the earth – then it will return to Him on the Day which amounts to a thousand years in your count. 5 Such is He, the Knower of all things, hidden and open, the Exalted (in power), the Merciful;- 6 He Who has made everything which He has created most good: He began the creation of man with (nothing more than) clay, 7 then He made his progeny from an extract of a humble fluid. 8 Then He created him and (caused the angel to) breathe into him his (created) spirit. He gave you eyes and ears, and hearts, yet little do you thank. 9 And they said, “When we have mingled into the earth, will we be created again?”; in fact they disbelieve in the meeting with their Lord. 10 ۞ Say: "[One day,] the angel of death who has been given charge of you will gather you, and then unto your Sustainer you will be brought back." 11
