ART THOU NOT aware that We have let loose all [manner of] satanic forces upon those who deny the truth - [forces] that impel them [towards sin] with strong impulsion? 83 Hence, be not in haste [to call down God's punishment] upon them: for We but number the number of their days. 84 The Day We shall gather the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) unto the Most Beneficent (Allah), like a delegate (presented before a king for honour). 85 and drive the evildoers as herds, into Gehenna 86 They shall not control intercession, save he who has made a covenant with the Beneficent Allah. 87 And they say: The Beneficent Allah has taken (to Himself) a son. 88 Indeed you have brought forth (said) a terrible evil thing. 89 whereat the heavens might well-nigh be rent into fragments, and the earth be split asunder, and the mountains fall down in ruins! 90 That men should ascribe a son to the Most Gracious, 91 And it is not appropriate for the Most Merciful that He should take a son. 92 All that is in the heavens and the earth will return to the Beneficent God as His submissive servants. 93 He has enumerated them and counted them a [full] counting. 94 And every one of them will come to Him on the day of resurrection alone. 95 On those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, will (Allah) Most Gracious bestow love. 96 (Muhammad), We have given you the Book (the Quran) in your own language so that you could easily give the glad news to the pious ones and warn the quarrelsome ones. 97 And how many a generation have We destroyed before them! Do you see any one of them or hear a sound of them? 98
