The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

THE STARTLING CALAMITY. 1 What is the striking (Hour)? 2 And what can make you know what is the Striking Calamity? 3 [It is] a Day when mankind shall be like scattered moths 4 and mountains will be like carded wool. 5 Then he whose scales weigh heavier 6 will have a most pleasing life. 7 But as for him whose deeds are light on the scales, 8 will have hawiyah as their dwelling. 9 And what could make thee conceive what that [abyss] will be? 10 A burning fire. 11
