Do you not see that We have sent devils upon the unbelievers who greatly incite them (to oppose the Truth)? 83 So hasten thou not against them; We are only numbering for them a number. 84 The Day will surely come when We shall gather the God-fearing like [honoured] guests before the Compassionate God 85 And shall drive the culprits to Hell as a herd. 86 On that Day none will have the power to intercede for them except those who received a sanction from the Most Compassionate Lord. 87 As it is, some assert, "The Most Gracious has taken unto Himself a son 88 Assuredly ye utter a disastrous thing 89 Whereby almost the heavens are torn, and the earth is split asunder and the mountains fall in ruins, 90 For they have attributed a son to Ar-Rahman, 91 and it behoves not the All-merciful to take a son. 92 there is none in the heavens or on the earth but shall return to the Merciful in utter submission, 93 He has counted them and numbered them precisely, 94 And everyone of them will come to Him singly on the Day of Judgment. 95 Indeed those who believed and did good deeds – the Most Gracious will appoint love for them. (In the hearts of other believers.) 96 and only to this end have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own tongue, [O Prophet,] so that thou might convey thereby a glad tiding to the God-conscious, and warn thereby those who are given to [futile] contention: 97 And how many a generation We destroyed before them! Dost thou perceive so much as one of them, or hear of them a whisper? 98
