T H (Taa Haa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta Ha 1 We have not sent down the Qur'an to you that you should be burdened, 2 it is only a reminder for him who fears Allah; 3 A revelation from Him Who created the earth and the high heavens, 4 the Most Gracious, established on the throne of His almightiness? 5 To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth, and all that is in between, and all that is beneath the soil. 6 Whether or not you express (your thoughts) in words, God certainly knows all unspoken thoughts and all that is even more difficult to find. 7 Allah - there is no god but He. His are the most excellent names. 8 And did the news of Moosa reach you? 9 When he saw the fire, he said to his family, "Wait here for I can see a fire. Perhaps I shall bring you a burning torch or find a way to some fire". 10 So when he came near the fire, it was announced, “O Moosa!” 11 I am your Lord. Take off your shoes, for you are in Towa, the sacred valley. 12 "And I have chosen you. So listen to that which is inspired to you. 13 "Verily, I am Allah: There is no god but I: So serve thou Me (only), and establish regular prayer for celebrating My praise. 14 Indeed, the Hour is coming - I almost conceal it - so that every soul may be recompensed according to that for which it strives. 15 Therefor, let not him turn thee aside from (the thought of) it who believeth not therein but followeth his own desire, lest thou perish. 16 And what is that in thy right hand, O Moses? 17 He said: "This is my stick, whereon I lean, and wherewith I beat down branches for my sheep, and wherein I find other uses." 18 God said, "Moses, cast it down." 19 So he threw it down, and lo! it was a rapidly moving snake. 20 Then He said: "Seize it and have no fear. We shall restore it to its former state. 21 And press thy hand to thy side, it will come forth white, without hurt, as another sign. 22 That We may go on showing you Our greater signs. 23 “Go to Firaun, he has rebelled.” 24
