Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
The food of the Zakkum tree 43 Will be the food of the Sinful,- 44 Like murky oil, it boils within bellies 45 like water. 46 (And it will be said): Take him and drag him to the midst of hell, 47 Then pour the punishment of boiling water over his head, 48 (Saying): Taste! Lo! thou wast forsooth the mighty, the noble! 49 “Indeed this is what you used to doubt about.” 50 Lo! those who kept their duty will be in a place secured. 51 amid gardens and springs, 52 clothed in fine silk and rich brocade, sitting face to face with one another. 53 Even so. And We shall pair them with fair damsels large-eyed. 54 There in security, they will call for every kind of fruit. 55 They will not taste death therein, save the first death. God will save them from the torment of Hell 56 as a favour from your Lord. That is the great triumph. 57 And We have made it easy in thy language; they might haply be admonished. 58 So you wait. They are also waiting. 59

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
