And certainly We created man, and We know what his mind suggests to him, and We are nearer to him than his life-vein. 16 When the two Receivers receive (him), seated on the right hand and on the left, 17 not a word he utters, but by him is an observer ready. 18 And [then,] the twilight of death brings with it the [full] truth that [very thing, O man,] from which thou wouldst always look away! 19 The trumpet will certainly be sounded. This will be the day (about which you) were threatened. 20 And every soul shall come, and with it a driver and a witness. 21 (It will be said:) "Thou wast heedless of this; now have We removed thy veil, and sharp is thy sight this Day!" 22 His companion said: “Here is he who was in my charge.” 23 (The sentence will be:) "Throw, throw into Hell every contumacious Rejecter (of Allah)!- 24 [every] withholder of good [and] sinful aggressor [and] fomentor of distrust [between man and man - everyone] 25 "Who set up another god beside Allah: Throw him into a severe penalty." 26 ۞ His accompanying devil said, “Our Lord! I did not cause him to rebel, but he himself was in extreme error.” 27 He (Allah) will say: 'Do not dispute before Me. I sent you a warning beforehand. 28 No word is to be exchanged in My presence. I am not unjust to My servants". 29
