The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 In which he will neither die nor live. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
