The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the bright forenoon, 1 and by the night when it covers, 2 your Lord has not forsaken you (Prophet Muhammad), nor does He hate you. 3 What is to come is better for you than what has gone before; 4 For your Lord will certainly give you, and you will be content. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and take care of you? 6 And He found thee wandering, and He gave thee guidance. 7 And did He not find you in need and make you rich? 8 So do not oppress the orphan, 9 And as for the petitioner, do not repel [him]. 10 and as for thy Lord's blessing, declare it. 11
