And man saith: When I am dead, shall I forsooth be brought forth alive? 66 Will not man remember that We created him aforetime, when he was nothing? 67 By your Lord, We will gather them and the satans, and We shall parade them hobbling on their knees in Gehenna: 68 Then We shall carry off from every group those who were most stubborn in their opposition to the Gracious One, 69 Then, surely it is We who are most knowing of those most worthy of burning therein. 70 It is the inevitable decree of your Lord that every one of you will be taken to hell. 71 But We shall save those who guarded against evil, and We shall leave the wrong-doers therein, (humbled) to their knees. 72 And when Our Clear Verses are recited to them, those who disbelieve (the rich and strong among the pagans of Quraish who live a life of luxury) say to those who believe (the weak, poor companions of Prophet Muhammad SAW who have a hard life): "Which of the two groups (i.e. believers and disbelievers) is best in (point of) position and as regards station (place of council for consultation)." 73 How many generations that had far more wealth and ostentation have We laid low before them! 74 Say: As for him who remains in error, the Beneficent Allah will surely prolong his length of days, until they see what they were threatened with, either the punishment or the hour; then they shall know who is in more evil plight and weaker in forces 75 And Allah increaseth in guidance those who let themselves be guided, and the righteous works that last are excellent with thy Lord in respect of reward and excellent in respect of return. 76 Then, have you seen he who disbelieved in Our verses and said, "I will surely be given wealth and children [in the next life]?" 77 Has he penetrated to the Unseen, or has he taken a contract with (Allah) Most Gracious? 78 Nay! We shall record what he says, and We shall lengthen the length of his suffering [in the hereafter,] 79 To Us shall return all that he talks of and he shall appear before Us bare and alone. 80 For [such as] these have taken to worshipping deities other than God, hoping that they would be a [source of] strength for them. 81 Never; soon they will deny ever worshipping them, and will turn into their opponents. 82
