Al-Mu' minoon 5 of 6
It is He who produced for you hearing, and eyes, and hearts; little thanks you show. 78 And He has multiplied you through the earth, and to Him shall ye be gathered back. 79 He is the One who gives life and causes death and He controls the alternation of night and day. Will you not then understand? 80 Nay, but they said the like of what the ancients said. 81 They said, "When we have died and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected? 82 We and our fathers were promised this before; it is nothing but ancient lore!" 83 (Muhammad), say to them, "Tell me, if you know, to whom does the earth and its contents belong?" 84 They will say: Unto Allah. Say: Will ye not then remember? 85 Say thou: who is Lord of the seven heavens and Lord of the mighty throne? 86 [And] they will reply: "[All this power belongs] to God." Say: "Will you not, then, remain conscious of Him?" 87 Say: "Who is it in whose hands is the governance of all things,- who protects (all), but is not protected (of any)? (say) if ye know." 88 They will say: (This is) Allah's. Say: From whence are you then deceived? 89 We have brought before them the Truth, and there is no doubt that they are lying. 90 Allah hath not chosen any son, nor is there any god along with Him; else would each god have assuredly championed that which he created, and some of them would assuredly have overcome others. Glorified be Allah above all that they allege. 91 Knower of the Invisible and the Visible! and Exalted be He over all that they ascribe as partners (unto Him)! 92

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
