We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 and at night. Do you still not understand? 138
