Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Rivalry in worldly increase distracteth you 1 Until ye visit the graves. 2 But no, indeed, you shall soon know. 3 But you will soon come to know. 4 Indeed, did you know with certain knowledge 5 You should most certainly have seen the hell; 6 In the end you will indeed, most surely, behold it with the eye of certainty: 7 then you shall be questioned that day concerning true bliss. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
