Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the snorting chargers, 1 sparks of fire striking, 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 raising a trail of dust, 4 And penetrate forthwith into the midst (of the foe) en masse;- 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 And most surely he is tenacious in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 And that within the breasts is obtained, 10 Verily, that Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) their Lord will be Well-Acquainted with them (as to their deeds), (and will reward them for their deeds). 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
