The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

The Striking Calamity - 1 What is the Striking Calamity? 2 How will you comprehend what the startling calamity is? -- 3 [It is] a Day when mankind shall be like scattered moths 4 and the mountains will be like fluffy tufts of wool.... 5 Those whose good deeds will weigh heavier (on the scale) 6 He shall be in a life well-pleasing. 7 But as for him whose scales are light, 8 His refuge will be an abyss. 9 And what can make you know what that is? 10 A blazing Fire! 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
