Man says: "What! When I am dead, shall I then be raised up alive?" 66 Doth not man remember that We created him before, when he was naught? 67 So by your Lord, We shall assemble them and the devils – all of them – and bring them around hell, fallen on their knees. 68 Then shall We certainly drag out from every sect all those who were worst in obstinate rebellion against (Allah) Most Gracious. 69 We know best who deserve to be burnt in (the Fire). 70 There is not one among you who will not reach it. Your Lord has made this incumbent on Himself. 71 We shall then rescue the pious – and leave the unjust in it, fallen on their knees. 72 When Our signs are recited to them as clear signs, the unbelievers say to the believers, 'Which of the two parties is better in station, fairer in assembly?' 73 And how many a generation have We destroyed before them who were better in possessions and [outward] appearance? 74 Say, "Whoever is in error - let the Most Merciful extend for him an extension [in wealth and time] until, when they see that which they were promised - either punishment [in this world] or the Hour [of resurrection] - they will come to know who is worst in position and weaker in soldiers." 75 And Allah will increase the guidance for those who have received guidance; and good deeds that remain have the best reward before your Lord, and the best outcome. 76 And hast thou ever considered [the kind of man] who is bent on denying the truth of Our messages and says, "I will surely be given wealth and children"? 77 Hath he perused the Unseen, or hath he made a pact with the Beneficent? 78 Nay! We shall record what he says, and We shall lengthen the length of his suffering [in the hereafter,] 79 and divest him of all that he is [now] speaking of: for [on Judgment Day] he will appear before Us in a lonely state. 80 They have taken other gods instead of Allah that they may be a source of strength for them. 81 But nay! [On Judgment Day] these [very objects of adoration] will disavow the worship that was paid to them, and will turn against those [who had worshipped them]! 82
