Say: O my Lord! if Thou shouldst make me see what they are threatened with: 93 My Lord! then place me not among the wrong-doing people. 94 And most surely We are well able to make you see what We threaten them with. 95 Repel thou the evil with that which is the best, We are the Best Knower of that which they utter. 96 Say, "Lord, I seek your protection against the strong temptations of the devils. 97 "And I seek refuge with Thee O my Lord! lest they should come near me." 98 [For such is the state of the disbelievers], until, when death comes to one of them, he says, "My Lord, send me back 99 so that I may do good works in the world I have left behind." Never! It is indeed but a meaningless word that he utters. A barrier shall stand behind such people till the Day they are raised up again. 100 So when the Trumpet is blown – so there will neither be any relationship among them* that day, nor will they ask about one another. (The disbelievers) 101 Those whose scales are heavy shall prosper, 102 But those whose scales are lighter will perish and abide in Hell for ever. 103 The fire shall scorch their faces, and they therein shall be in severe affliction. 104 [It will be said]. "Were not My verses recited to you and you used to deny them?" 105 They will say: Our Lord! Our evil fortune conquered us, and we were erring folk. 106 Lord, deliver us from Hell. Then, if we revert again, we shall definitely be wrongdoers." 107 He will say, "Remain despised therein and do not speak to Me. 108 Among My servants, there were those who said, "Lord, We believe, so forgive us and have mercy on us. You are the best one to show mercy." 109 Then ye took them mockingly, so that they caused you to forget remembrance of Me, and at them ye were wont to laugh. 110 "I have rewarded them this Day for their patience and constancy: they are indeed the ones that have achieved Bliss..." 111 He will say: how long tarried ye on the earth in number of year? 112 They will reply. "We remained for about a day or part of it, but ask those who have kept count". 113 He (Allah) will say: "You stayed not but a little, if you had only known! 114 "Did you think that We had created you in play (without any purpose), and that you would not be brought back to Us?" 115 [KNOW,] then, [that] God is sublimely exalted, the Ultimate Sovereign, the Ultimate Truth: there is no deity save Him, the Sustainer, in bountiful almightiness enthroned! 116 He, who invokes another deity along with God, a deity of whose divinity he has no proof, will be brought to account by his Lord. Certainly, those who deny the truth shall never prosper. 117 And say: 'My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of the merciful' 118
