Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Ya-Sin. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] 1 By the Wise Koran, 2 Most surely you are one of the apostles 3 upon the straight path. 4 A revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful. 5 That you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 Indeed, the word [of God's condemnation] is bound to come true against most of them: for they will not believe. 7 We have bound their necks with fetters up to their chin, so that their heads are raised and cannot be lowered. 8 And We have set a wall before them and a wall behind them, and covered the top – so they are unable to see anything. 9 The same is it to them whether thou admonish them or thou do not admonish them: they will not believe. 10 You can only warn him who follows the reminder and fears the Beneficent Allah in secret; so announce to him forgiveness and an honorable reward. 11 Surely, it is We who revive the dead and write down what they have forwarded and what they have left behind; We have counted everything in a Clear Book. 12
